Arts and Movement Facilitation with Adriana
Adriana’s well-articulated style of teaching and speaking makes her a dynamic presence at events and workshop venues.
Adriana has presented at international conferences and is an experienced and sought after group facilitator and teacher. She teaches workshops and classes throughout California and will be doing a Europe teaching tour this fall. In addition to her background in the arts, she is influenced by her work as core faculty member of the Tamalpa Institute, an internationally renowned training center for movement-based expressive arts therapy.
I offer online classes that encompass the wide spectrum of my work. Classes will bridge life and art, offer art-focused recovery groups for people with addictions, and provide online training and supervision for those in related fields. These classes will provide the opportunity to work with me no matter where you live!
Expressive Arts Training at Tamalpa Institute
I teach in several training modules at the Tamalpa Institute as well as public workshops. Tamalpa was developed by dance pioneer Anna Halprin and master trainer and therapist, Daria Halprin; the trainings draw upon creative and body-based methodologies for creative growth and personal healing.
Film and Speaking Schedule
My film, When the Fall Comes has been screened alongside talks and workshop opportunities. I am also working on a new film called The Creative High about artists who have faced addiction. You can experience my unique approach to life and art bridging this year in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and Europe in the fall. I am very inspired by the compassionate and soulful way she works with people through one on one or in group-settings. She is walking her talk with integrity, empathy and authenticity.
